POSITION SUMMARY: The Operations Manager role is a critical, back-office role ensuring the seamless functioning of wealth management services. The Operations Manager will oversee all operational aspects, including compliance, client service, administrative support, and process improvements. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities, capable of managing a team and coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
PRE-REQUISITES: Candidates with prior experience in managing operations within a Wealth Management/Broking/Private Banking setup are preferred. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of financial products, regulatory requirements, and operational workflows in the wealth management sector.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Service Management:
• Ensure all client service operations are handled efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Address and resolve client service issues and operational discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Wealth Managers to ensure high standards of client service.
Operational Oversight:
• Manage daily operations of the wealth management services.
• Oversee transaction processing, settlements, and reconciliations.
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
Team Leadership:
• Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team.
• Conduct regular training sessions to ensure the team is up-to-date with the latest operational protocols and regulations.
Process Improvement:
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational effectiveness.
Risk Management:
• Implement and monitor risk management practices to safeguard client assets and firm’s operations.
• Conduct periodic reviews and audits to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
Collaboration and Coordination:
• Work closely with Wealth Managers, Product, and Research teams to streamline operations.
• Coordinate with IT and other support functions to ensure smooth technological
integration and support.
Reporting and Documentation:
• Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all operational activities.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
• Any Graduate / Post Graduate with relevant qualifications.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operations management within the Wealth Management/Broking/Private Banking sector.

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:
• Deep understanding of financial products and wealth management operations.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to operational challenges.
